Welcome to Oxford and Little River Baptist Churches. Jesus in His High Priestly Prayer in John 17:13 declares, "I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them." (New International Version). This was to be accomplished within the framework of the church as a body together and that long forgotten concept is fundamental to what we do at Oxford and Little River. I hope and pray that each of you may experience the joy of fellowship with Jesus Christ in your own life to the fullest.

We are not the biggest churches in the world nor are we the smallest. We are not the churches with the best of this or that. We are churches full of people who acknowledge that each of us are sinners with our share of bruises and yet we attempt to be the body of Christ to one another to bring health and encouragement.

Have you experienced that joy in your daily life? It is our prayer that in these pages and through the various links that you would know something about our church, but, more importantly, that you would know, in an experiential way, the Lord of the Church, Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah or Anointed One, who wants so much to enter into a real relationship with you.
